MANILA, Philippines – SAMUT-SARI na parangal ang nakuha ng lokal na pamahalaang lungsod ng Navotas mula sa iba’t-ibang ahensya dahil sa mga nagawa nito sa iba’t-ibang kategorya.
Tumanggap ang Navotas ng mga papuri mula Department of the Interior and Local Government sa kanilang Bidahan Program na pinairal mula taong 2016 na dumadaan ang mga nalulong sa bawal na gamot sa counseling sessions and routine testing.
Samantala, kinilala rin nang Department of Social Welfare and Development bilang Top 2 LGU na nagpataas ng nutritional status ng Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) ang Navotas habang si Ms. Karen Rose B. Damsani ng CSWD ay ginawaran bilang Outstanding SFP Focal Person.
Nakamit din ng Navotas ang Silver Seal of Protection sa Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) sa pagtugon sa Republic Act No. 656 o ang the Property Insurance Law.
Habang nakuha rin ng Navotas ang Gawad Kalasag Seal of Excellence 2023 na kinilala bilang Beyond Compliant sa pagtugon sa local disaster risk reduction and management councils.
