MANILA, Phiippines- Magtatatag ng apat na Senior Citizen Community Care Centers (SC3Cs) sa buong bansa pagkatapos ng May 2025 elections, ayon sa National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) nitong Martes.
Sa isang public briefing, sinabi ni NCSC officer-in-charge and commission member Dr. Mary Jean Loreche na ang SC3C ay ilalagay sa Los Baños, Laguna; Daet, Camarines Norte; at Ubay at Mabini, Bohol.
“Magiging marami sila lalo’t lalo na pinapalawig natin ‘yung program ng national government,” pahayag ni Loreche.
Tututukan ng mga programa at serbisyo ng SC3Cs ang “health and wellness, social and recreational activities, counseling and mental health support, and legal and financial assistance.”
Mag-aalok din ito ng mga programa at serbisyo mula sa national government agencies tulad ng Department of Health, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Department of Labor and Employment, at ng Department of Trade and Industry.
