Manila, Philippines- Kilala ang OPM artist na si Nick Vera Perez sa pagiging very supportive sa kanyang ina.
Naka-post nga sa kanyang FB page kung paano niya personal na inaalagaan ang kanyang inang may sakit, sa gitna ng kanyang hectic na schedule bilang isang singer at nurse sa Chicago, Illinois.
Si Nick ay ang multi-awarded recording artist based in Chicago, na bumisita sa Pinas to promote his second album titled Laging Ikaw.
Nick’s mother is Mommy Visitacion Tan.
“If only people learn how to show their love sa konilang ina, the world will surely become a better place.
“Kaya nga every year, lagi akong may show o mall tour to remind people to love their mother. Kaunting reminder lang.
“‘Yung sacrifice ko kasi sa mother ko, matindi.
“Sometimes kapag nagbe-breakdown ako, hindi ko talaga kayang ipakita sa mama ko.
“Hindi ako nakaka-sleep ng maayos sa pag-alaga sa mama ko. Of course nakakapagod pero nanay ko yan.
“Imagine, nurse ako, inaalagaan ko ibang tao tapos nanay ko hindi,” ang medyo emosyunal na sabi ni Nick.
Sa ngayon ay pino-promote ni Nick ang kanyang second album na Laging Ikaw.
“Asahan niyo po na mas maraming shows ako ngayon, more special shows ngayong nalalapit na ang Mother’s day.
“Laging Ikaw is about now pero in-emphasize ko ang mga mothers. May cash prizes ako na ipamimigay para sa mga ina sa aking shows,” sabi ni sir Nick.
Laging Ikaw is the carrier single of the same-titled album released during the pandemic in 2021. It was massively welcomed by the crowd having the song listened to by more than 1 million downloads within five days of release.
Aside from Laging Ikaw, his other albums are I Am Ready, Our Christmas, Parte Ng Buhay Ko, and UnAfraid.
He is scheduled to perform the tour beginning in his hometown, Zamboanga City at KCC Mall de Zamboanga at the Atrium on May 9 from 3-6PM. He is also performing for the beautiful community of General Santos at the SM City Gen San on Mother’s Day (May 12, 2024 from 3-6PM) and in Davao city (Gaisano City Gate) by May 14, 2024.
He flies back to Manila with his beloved mother, his aunt Carmelita Ico, and his wonderful new-found talent as his very special guest on all his tours, Ms. Evelyn Francia, who is a known singer in Chicago for her angelic yet powerful vocals.
Anyway, si Nick ang current Mr. United Nations International (Mr. USA United Nations 2023).
Also, Nick recently finished his Doctorate degree in Nursing at the Walden University, where he also completed his Masters of Nursing with a Nurse Executive concentration.
