TARLAC, Philippines – Nasamsam ng awtoridad sa Tarlac City ang cooking oil products na nagkakahalaga ng P1.15 milyon dahil sa umano’y food safety violation, ayon sa Philippine National Police (PNP).
Sa isang operasyon sa Barangay San Rafael, kinumpiska ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group at Tarlac City PNP ang daan-daang containers ng cooking oil tulad ng palm oil at coconut oil, pati na rin ang transaction records at delivery receipts.
Isinagawa ang operasyon base sa search warrant na inisyu ng korte laban sa pasilidad para sa paglabag sa Republic Act 9711 o FDA Act of 2009.
“We strongly advise consumers to avoid buying unverified cooking oil products from unknown or unauthorized sellers. Ang kalusugan ng bawat isa ay hindi dapat isugal, and we will continue to act against those endangering public safety,” ani PNP chief Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.
Dinala ang nasamsam na produkto sa CIDG Provincial Field Unit sa Camp Macabulos para sa proper documentation at disposition. RNT/MND
