MANILA, Philippines- Nakumpiska ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang pekeng branded footwear na nagkakahalaga ng P8,518,000 sa isang operasyon sa Tondo, Manila.
Ayon sa NBI nitong Biyernes, nagsilbi ito ng 34 search warrants target sa limang tindahan na inaakusahan ng trademark infringement.
Nagresulta ang operasyon sa pagkakasamsam ng 1,502 pares ng pekeng footwear.
“The search was conducted peacefully in the presence of representatives and witnesses, who signed the inventory,” batay sa ulat ng NBI.
Isinagawa ang operasyon kasunod ng reklamong inihain ng Lee Bumgarner Inc. (LBI), isang Philippine-based corporation na tumututok sa intellectual property rights enforcement at mga kaugnay na serbisyo. RNT/SA
