USA – Hinamon ng Harvard University si US President Donald Trump at pinahahadlangan sa korte ang proklamasyon na nagbabawal sa mga international students na pumasok sa US para mag-aral sa naturang unibersidad.
Ayon sa Harvard, iligal ang kautusan at labag sa batas, dahil hindi ito suportado ng sapat na ebidensya ukol sa national security.
“The Proclamation denies thousands of Harvard’s students the right to come to this country to pursue their education and follow their dreams, and it denies Harvard the right to teach them. Without its international students, Harvard is not Harvard,” saad ng unibersidad sa kanilang kaso.
Tinawag naman ni White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson ang Harvard ma “a hotbed of anti-American, anti-Semitic, pro-terrorist agitators.”
“Harvard’s behavior has jeopardized the integrity of the entire US student and exchange visitor visa system and risks compromising national security. Now it must face the consequences of its actions,” ayon kay Jackson.
Tinawag ng White House ang Harvard na “anti-American,” habang giit ng paaralan na ito ay paghihiganti ng administrasyon sa pagtutol ng unibersidad sa mga polisiya nito.
