MANILA, Philippines- Inaasahan ng Kamara na matatanggap ngayong Lunes ang panukalang P6.352-trillion national budget ng Malacañang para sa 2025.
Sa isang news release, sinabi ni Speaker Martin Romualdez na pormal na iteturn-over ni Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman ang panukalang budget at iba pang kaukulang dokumento ng alas-10 ng umaga ngayong Lunes.
Nangako si Romualdez na agad na pupulungin ang House Committee on Appropriations para sa deliberasyon ng panukala at aaprubahan ito bago ang unang recess ng Kamara sa Oktubre.
“We will make sure that enough funds will be allocated for social services and for programs that will sustain our economic growth,” pahayag ng mambabatas.
Tiniyak din niya na bubusisiing mabuti kada panukalang alokasyon upang siguruhin na magagastos nang maayos ng mga ahensya ang budget.
Ang proposed budget para sa 2025 ay mas mataas ng halos P585 bilyon kumpara sa P5.768 trillion outlay ngayong taon.
“For FY (fiscal year) 2025, we will continue to advance our agenda for prosperity,” sabi naman ni Pangandaman sa economic forum kamakailan kasama an g mga mamamahayag.
“For the first two years of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., we successfully laid the groundwork for a future-proof and sustainable economic development where no Filipino is left behind. This time, we will build on our gains and strive to fulfill not only the needs, but also the aspirations of the Filipino people we have sworn to serve.” RNT/SA
