“I have full trust that he will continue to serve with the same dedication and excellence that he has demonstrated in over three decades of public service; ensuring that the work we do is communicated effectively and immediately to the Filipino people,” ang sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos.
Aniya pa, siya ang pang-anim na Pangulo na pinagsilbihan ni Chavez.
“In these six successive administrations, he has performed exceedingly well in various positions in government. We even worked alongside each other as former members of the 1992 Congress,”ayon kay Pangulong Marcos.
Nauna rito, nanumpa na si Chavez sa bagong tungkulin sa harap ni Pangulong Marcos sa Malakanyang.
Pinalitan ni Chavez si PCO Secretary Cheloy Garafil na itinalagang bagong pinuno ng Manila Economic and Cultural Office.
Una nang nagsilbi si Chavez bilang Undersecretary for Railways ng Department of Transportation.
Tututukan ni Chavez na maipalaganap ang mga polisiya ni Pangulong Marcos, mga programa at mga pet projects bukod pa sa Build, Better, More program at social development projects.
Tututukan din ni Chavez ang paglaban sa fake news.
Aatasan din ni Chavez ang lahat ng state media na magkaroon ng fact checker para hindi mabiktima ng fake news. Kris Jose
