PNP iginiit na sumunod sa legal protocols sa pagsisilbi ng arrest warrant kay Quiboloy

MANILA, Philippines- Iginiit ng Philippine National Police nitong Martes na sumunod ito sa legal security protocols nang isilbi ang warrants of arrest para kay Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy at lima pa sa Davao City. 

Inihayag ng PNP na nagsagawa ito ng “lawful operation” na “in strict compliance with legal security protocols” at nirerespeto ang lahat ng partido.

“Recognizing the high-profile nature of the subject, the PNP ensured the presence of an appropriate number of officers during the operation to maintain order and prevent any unforeseen incidents. We are pleased to report that the execution of the warrant was conducted without any harm to anyone,” dagdag nito.

Nagsagawa ang PNP ng operasyon sa tatlong lokasyon, kabilang ang KOJC compound sa Buhangin district, ang tinatawag na Glory Mountain sa Barangay Tamayong, at sa Prayer Mountain.

Gayunsin, inihayag ng kapulisan na nakipag-ugnayan ito sa mga lokal na opisyal “to ensure peaceful and orderly execution” ng mga operasyon

“Furthermore, the PNP strictly adhered to the guidelines outlined in the PNP Operational Procedures Manual, which underscore the importance of upholding human rights and conducting police operations with integrity,” anang PNP.

Umaapela ang PNP kay Quiboloy, na hindi pa rin nahuhuli, na sumuko na at harapin ang mga kaso laban sa kanya.

“We appeal to Pastor Quiboloy to peacefully surrender, accept the warrant, and address the charges brought against him. We also urge his supporters to respect the legal process and the fundamental laws that govern our society,” anito.

Nahaharap si Quiboloy isa  abuse at trafficking cases sa Davao City at Pasig City courts.

Mahigit 100 pulis mula sa Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Special Action Force, at iba pa mula sa Philippine National Police units ang nagtungo sa mga property ni Quiboloy noong Lunes. RNT/SA
