IN a remarkable display of coordination and intelligence-driven policing, the Police Regional Office 3 successfully apprehended eight of the region’s top ten most wanted criminals in just one week.

This achievement, executed under the leadership of Col. Jay Baybayan, head of the Regional Intelligence and Special Operations Group, underscores the effectiveness of intelligence-led operations in combating crime.

Among those arrested were six rapists, one murderer and a drug dealer, sending a strong message to criminals in Central Luzon that lawlessness will not be tolerated.

The success of this operation reflects the dedication and precision of the police teams involved.

PRO 3 director PBGen. Rogelio ‘Pojie’ Peñones Jr. lauded the efforts of the police teams, particularly Col. Baybayan, who played a pivotal role in orchestrating the operation.

Under Baybayan’s leadership, RISOG successfully neutralized high-priority criminals, further cementing the region’s commitment to public safety.

This operation also highlights the ongoing success of Acting PNP Chief PLtGen. Jose Melencio ‘Tateng’ Nartatez Jr.’s Enhanced Managing Police Operations program.

By strategically optimizing police resources, EMPO ensures that police operations are more efficient and focused on apprehending high-priority criminals.

For the people of Central Luzon, these arrests are not just about justice but also a renewed sense of security and peace of mind in their communities.

While eight dangerous criminals have been captured, the fight continues.

With the continued support of Nartatez’s program, Peñones and Baybayan remain resolute in their mission to bring more criminals to justice and maintain peace in the region.

The goal is clear: to create a safer, more secure Central Luzon where criminals are held accountable, and the rule of law is upheld.
