MANILA, Philippines – TINUKOY ng Pilipinas ang soberanya nito matapos na manawagan ang Tsina sa Maynila para sa di umano’y illegal intrusion sa katubigan sa Scarborough Shoal.
“These are all part of shaping or malign info operations more likely for their internal audience,” ang sinabi ni Philippine Navy spokesperson for the Wet Philippines (WPS) Commodore Roy Vincent Trinidad.
“Only the Philippine Navy and other Philippine flagged law enforcement ships have the authority and legal bases to challenge any ship within maritime zones,” aniya pa rin.
Nauna rito, sa isang Reuters report, sinabi ng Southern Theatre navy ng Tsina na ang Philippine frigate ay “illegally intruded” sa katubigan ng Scarborough Shoal, araw ng Linggo.
Inakusahan ng Tsina ang Pilipinas ng “seriously violating” ang soberanya at batas ng Tsina. Kris Jose
