“The Philippine Constitution is clear: non-Filipinos are not allowed to own land in the country. The increasing reports of Chinese nationals and corporations, particularly those connected to POGOs, holding real estate assets are deeply alarming and must be addressed with urgency,” giit ni Nograles.
“We need to protect the integrity of our Constitution and ensure that the laws are strictly enforced,” wika ni Nograles.
“The LRA, along with other government agencies, must work hand in hand to prevent criminal elements from illegally acquiring Philippine land,” patuloy niya.
“Allowing foreign entities, particularly those connected to industries like POGOs, to control land here undermines our reputation among the community of nations.”
“By taking swift action against illegal land ownership, we not only uphold the Constitution but also protect the Philippines from further risks associated with these operations,” dagdag pa niya. RNT/SA
