MANILA, Philippines – Tahasang tinabla ng tanggapan ni Senador Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa ang subpoena at subpoena duces tecum na ipinadala ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) hinggil sa imbestigasyon ng pulisya sa drug war sa panahon ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Sa opisyal na pahayag ni Cedie Dela Rosa, media relations officer ng senador, hindi nila opisyal na tinanggap ang subpoena na dinala ng CIDG nitong umaga ng Lunes, May 11, 2026, dahil wala silang awtorisasyon mula sa senador.
“HI @all, galing na po ang CIDG dito earlier sa office namin and they did leave a copy of the subpoena. We didn’t officially receive it po because we are not authorized and there were no instructions from Sen. Bato,” ayon kay Cedie.
“IN RE: Investigation on the facts and circumstances surrounding the alleged extra-judicial killings (EJKs) in the Davao Region based on the House of Representatives Quad Committee hearing, and the revelation made in public interviews by SPO2 Arturo Lascanas (Retired),” ayon sa dokumento.
Inatasan ng CIDG si Dela Rosa na humarap sa imbestigasyon sa Mayo 15, Huwebes, dakong 10 ng umaga kay OIC Major Crimes Investigation Unit, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group sa Camp Crame, Quezon City.
Pinasusumite rin kay Dela Rosa ang lahat ng dokumento at iba pang mahahalagang impormasyon sa iniimbestigahang EJKs noon.
“Failure to comply without adequate cause or valid justification shall be ground for the filing of a case for indirect contempt of court against you under Rule 71, Revised Rules of Court in relation to Section 1 of RA 10973,” ayon sa subpoena. Ernie Reyes
