MANILA, Philippines – Muling pinagtibay ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) sa pamumuno ni Secretary Francis N. Tolentino ang suporta nito sa manggagawang Pilipino sa isinagawang lingguhang flag-raising ceremony sa Central Office nito sa Intramuros, Manila.
Binigyang-diin ni Assistant Secretary Atty. Lennard Constantine C. Serrano ang mahalagang papel at kahalagahan ng ASEAN Summit at ng mga kaakibat nitong pagpupulong.
“Your contributions, ideas, and commitment to working through issues together are big important in advancing our shared goal of developing and strengthening ASEAN workforces.”
“I encourage everyone to actively participate in the discussions ahead. Your experiences and perspectives will help ensure that the proposed fund reflects the needs and priorities of our region,” dagdag ni Assistant Secretary Serrano.
Nagpresenta rin ng komprehensibong ulat ng mga milestone at kamakailang tagumpay nito ang National Labor Relation Commission (NLRC) sa pangunguna ni Chairperson Grace Maniquiz-Tan.
“The official mission of my beloved agency, our NLRC, is to resolve labor disputes in the fairest, quickest, least expensive, and most effective way possible,” ani Commissioner Alfred Pagayatan.
“Performance is not a report that we submit; it is a promise we keep. Whether monthly, quarterly, or mid-year, exceeding performance targets means nothing unless it delivers on our promise to the Filipino people,” aniya, na sinasalamin ang pahayag ni Secretary Tolentino.
