MANILA, Philippines – Sinabi ng mga top ranking official ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na ang term extension ni PNP Chief Gen. Rommel Marbil ay magpapalakas sa kanilang commitment sa kanilang mga serbisyo.
Nagpapasalamat umano ang pulisya, kabilang ang lahat ng Police Regional Offices, National Support Units, at PNP Corps of Officers sa desisyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na patunayan ang pagtitiwala nito sa liderato ni Marbil.
“It further reinforces our dedication to serving and protecting the Filipino people with the highest standards of professionalism,” saad sa pahayag.
“By embracing modern policing strategies and technological innovations, Gen. Marbil has greatly enhanced the PNP’s capability to address evolving security challenges, creating safer communities and a more resilient nation,” dagdag pa.
Binanggit din na ang buong pwersa ng pulisya ay handang siguruhin ang “a secure and harmonious environment for all Filipinos” sa ilalim ng liderato ni Marbil.
Matatandaan na noong Huwebes ay inanunsyo ng Presidential Communications Office ang pagpapalawig sa termino ni Marbil nang apat pang buwan. RNT/JGC
