Romblon — Matagumpay na naaresto ng mga tauhan ng Taguig City Police Station sa ilalim ng Southern Police District (SPD) ang isa sa Top 5 Most Wanted Persons ng Lunsod sa isang joint operation sa Santa Maria Municipal Police Station (MPS) sa Romblon noong Mayo 1, 2025.
Ang akusado, na kinilala bilang alias Gerald, isang roofing installer, ay naaresto dakong 4:30 p.m. sa Sitio Ilaya, Barangay Concepcion Norte, Santa Maria, Romblon.
Matapos ang kanyang pag-aresto, ipinaabot sa kanya ang kanyang mga constitutional rights sa dialecto niyang naiintindihan, ngunit pinili niyang manatiling tahimik. Sumailalim siya sa medical examination sa Don Modesto Formilleza Memorial Hospital sa Looc, Romblon, at pansamantalang ipinasok sa Santa Maria MPS para sa temporary custody habang hinihintay ang commitment order mula sa court of origin.
Ang warrant of arrest laban kay alias Gerald ay inilabas ni Hon. Desiree Gertrude G. Orquiola-Moldez, Acting Presiding Judge ng RTC Branch 163, Taguig City. Ang warrant ay isinilbi ng Santa Maria MPS sa pamamagitan ng koordinasyon ng Warrant and Subpoena Section ng Taguig CPS.
Wanted si alias Gerald sa ilalim ng Criminal Case No. 9256 para sa Statutory Acts of Lasciviousness ng Article 336 ng Revised Penal Code, kaugnay ng Section 5 (b) ng Republic Act 7610, na na-amendahan ng R.A. 11648.
