MANILA, Philippines- Dapat nang matigil ang nangyayaring sisihan ng mga piskal at law enforcement agencies tuwing pumapalpak ang isang kaso.
Ito ang sinabi ni Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla sa paglulunsad ng training and educational program para sa law enforcers at mga prosecutor hinggil sa case build-up.
Dumalo rin sa training and educational program sina Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, National Bureau of Investigation Director Jaime Santiago, Philippine National Police Chief General Nicolas Torre, mga opisyal ng Philippine Coast Guard at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency,
Ang naturang pagsasanay ay bahagi ng DOJ Department Circular No. 20 kung saan tungkulin ng government prosecutors na magkaroon ng aktibong papel sa imbestigasyon ng mga kaso para masigurong mahahatulan ito sa korte.
“Every time there is a case to be solved, a case to be prosecuted, each department blames the other, the police blames the fiscals, the fiscals blame the police, this time it stops, this time we work together,” ani Remulla.
Sinabi ni DOJ Secretary Remulla na ang pagtutulungan ng pulis at piskal ay nangyari noong Estrada administration dahil sa dating Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Task Force or PAOCTF.
“The idea is simple, when we file a case we are ready for trial,” dagdag ni Remulla.
Sinabi ni DOJ Assistant Secretary Mico Clavano na nasa 1,800 law enforcers at prosecutors ang isinailalim na sa pagsasanay bago pa man sinimulan ang programa. Teresa Tavares
