MANILA, Philippines- Inanunsyo ni dating Senator Antonio Trillanes IV nitong Sabado na tatakbo siyang alkalde ng Caloocan City.
“Reform is an understatement of what needs to be done and I am ready to take on that challenge to uplift Caloocan and its people. Today, I am announcing my candidacy for mayor of Caloocan City,” wika ni Trillanes.
Inanunsyo ito ng dating senador sa mass oathtaking ng Magdalo partylist.
“During the past months, I have been going around Caloocan City, where I have heard the people’s plea for change. I have seen and felt the needs of our people and the serious gaps in addressing their problems,” pahayag niya.
“In the coming months, I will present my platform to the people on how I and my team will bring change in Caloocan City,” dagdag ni Trillanes.
Nanungkulan bilang senador si Trillanes sa dalawang magkasunod na termino mula 2007 hanggang 2019. Kumandidato rin siya sa 2022 elections, subalit hindi siya nanalo. RNT/SA
