MANILA, Philippines- Nagbabadyang mabuo ang isang tropical cyclone at pumasok sa Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) sa pagitan ng December 16 hanggang 22, ayon sa state weather bureau PAGASA.
Sa Tropical Cyclone Threat Potential Forecast na ipinalabas ng ahensya nitong Lunes, sinabi ng PAGASA na maaaring kumilos ang posibleng weather disturbance patungo sa Visayas – Southern Luzon area.
“Model forecasts suggest that formation of a tropical cyclone-like vortex (TCLV) is likely during the forecast period,” pahayag ng PAGASA.
“TCLV will likely emerge over the southern part of the TC Advisory Domain with a low to moderate likelihood of TC-development and is forecasted to enter the PAR and move towards the Visayas – Southern Luzon area,” dagdag nito.
Sa kasalukuyan, sinabi ng PAGASA na ang “tropical cyclone-like vortex” ay may low to moderate na tiyansang mabuo bilang isang tropical cyclone. RNT/SA
