MALABON City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval has delivered her ‘Ulat sa Malabueños’ which highlighted her administration’s accomplishments in governance, social services, health, education and economic development.

Sandoval’s leadership performance is anchored on her Lucky 9-Point Agenda which seeks to improve service delivery across the economy, healthcare, environment, infrastructure, livelihood, employment, tourism, and other social programs.

The first three priority thrusts focus on supporting businesses, boosting the economy and expanding livelihood opportunities.

Held at the Malabon Sports Center, Sandoval’s Ulat sa Malabueños’ showcased the progress on various programs she implemented including the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Trade Fairs, job forums which engaged over 5,000 participants and directly supported local producers, vendors, and entrepreneurs while strengthening market access for agri-food enterprises.

In collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment, the city government has extended livelihood packages to 54 beneficiaries who each received ₱30,000 while eight registered cooperatives received ₱100,000 financial assistance, which cited Malabon as Best Local Government Unit Implementer of DOLE’s Integrated Livelihood Program.

“Malabon’s economy continues to grow, ranking Top 2 Local Economy in the National Capital Region with a 7.27 percent gross domestic product increase, signaling readiness for global investments. This growth was driven by economic programs and business support,” according to Sandoval.

The key roads and access routes were rehabilitated, over 20 pumping stations were upgraded, and dredging and waterway clearing improved flood control.

Socialized housing and resettlement programs benefited over 1,360 families including the mid-rise housing projects in the villages of Potrero and Tinajeros.

“Milestones included the opening of a dialysis center at Ospital ng Malabon, operationalization of Hulong Duhat Health Center, and ongoing deployment of Key Mobile Jeannie Services, offering mobile PhilHealth consultations, X-ray, lab testing, and essential services,” Sandoval said.

Her administration extensively promoted social protection via the Malabon AHON Blue Card that reached 93,684 households, over 99 percent of target families.

Special programs had benefited 2,126 individuals for burial and hospitalization, 4,022 students under the ‘Eskwela’ Savings Project, 150+ solo parents through the ‘Kababaihan’ Consumer Cooperative.
