MANILA, Philippines – Pinalawig ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) ang validity ng mga lisensya at motor vehicle registration na mapapasok ngayong Abril ng tatlo pang buwan dahil sa krisis sa Middle East.
Saad sa Memorandum Circular 2026-5048 na walang magiging surcharge, penalty o multa sa late renewal sa mga dokumento sa naturang extension.
“In line with the directive of President Marcos Jr. and pursuant to the declaration of a State of National Energy Emergency, the LTO announces the extension of validity for documents expiring beginning April 2026 for a period of three months,” ayon sa LTO.
“This measure aims to ease the burden of the public amid the rising costs of fuel and basic commodities, giving motorists sufficient time to comply without additional financial strain,” dagdag pa.
Ang direktiba ay naaayon sa deklarasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ng state of national energy emergency.
