MANILA, Philippines – Kinikilala ni Vice President Sara Duterte ang resulta ng 2025 national and local elections.
Ito sa kabila ng pag-amin na hindi ito ang inaasahan niya.
Ang pahayag na ito ni Duterte ay kasunod ng resulta na lima lamang sa 12 senatorial candidates na kanyang personal na inendorso ang posibleng makapasok sa Magic 12, batay sa partial at unofficial tally ng Commission on Elections.
Ang mga ito ay sina senador Bong Go, Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, at Imee Marcos; Sagip party-list Rep. Rodante Marcoleta; at Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar.
“While the outcome was not what we had hoped for, our commitment to the people remains unwavering. We will continue to hold the government accountable, advocate for the issues that matter, and work tirelessly to serve as a strong and constructive opposition,” pahayag ng Bise Presidente.
Nagpasalamat naman ito sa lahat ng mga tagasuporta niya na “who stood with us throughout this journey.” RNT/JGC
