MANILA, Philippines – Patay ang 15-anyos na dalagita sa Oslob, Cebu matapos umanong gahasain ng 13 lalaki, ayon sa Philippine National Police (PNP) – Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) nitong Lunes, Disyembre 23.
Sa pahayag, sinabi ng CIDG na ang biktima ay kinilalang si “Analyn” kung saan iniulat ng ina ng biktima ang insidente sa pulisya noong Disyembre 12.
“According to the victim, on the evening of December 9, 2024, while seated at the Cuartel Heritage Park in Barangay Poblacion, Oslob during the Oslob Grand Fiesta Celebration, she was approached by an unidentified group of men who offered her a drink, leading to her intoxication,” anang CIDG.
“They allegedly took advantage of her inebriated state, brought her to a secluded area, and thirteen men sexually assaulted her…Tragically, Analyn passed away a few days after the incident,” dagdag pa.
Wala namang tinukoy na dahilan ng kamatayan ng dalagita.
Apat sa 13 suspek ay natukoy na sina “Luis,” “Cyrill,” “Tristan,” at “Kent” na naaresto sa Barangay Casay, Dalaguete Linggo ng gabi.
Ayon sa CIDG, bumisita sa Oslob ang mga suspek at nakilahok sa piyesta noong Disyembre 9.
Nasa kustodiya na ng CIDG Regional Field Unit 7 ang apat na naarestong suspek na mahaharap sa kasong statutory rape at homicide.
“By arresting these accused, we can bring justice to their families. We will further intensify our program to provide citizens with a safe and orderly community. We urge the public to remain vigilant and report any information that may assist the ongoing investigation,” pahayag ni CIDG chief Police Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III. RNT/JGC
