MANILA, Philippines – Kinumpirma ng Department of Justice (DOJ) na natanggap ngayong araw, Hunyo 11, ang kahilingan para sa pag-isyu ng Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) laban sa Ateneo Coach na si Thomas Anthony “Tab” Baldwin.
Ayon kay DOJ Spokesperson Atty. Polo Martinez, ang naturang kahilingan ay pag-aaralan batay sa ganap na napatunayang mga katotohanan at alinsunod sa parehong layunin at pamantayang inilalapat sa lahat ng kahilingang natatanggap ng Kagawaran.
“The request will be evaluated on the basis of fully established facts and in accordance with the same objective standards applied to all requests received by the Department,” sabi ni Martinez.
Nilinaw ni Martinez na ang paglabas ng ILBO ay hindi nakadepende sa nasyonalidad.
“The issuance of an ILBO is not dependent on nationality. It may apply to any person who is the subject of an investigation in the Philippines, subject to compliance with the applicable rules and requirements,” dagdag pa ng tagapagsalita ng DOJ.
