“We will only allow DPWH to conduct 24-hour road repairs which they commit to finish on time and implement properly in the same manner as they implemented it during last Holy Week’s road repairs,” pahayag ng opisyal.

Kabilang sa mga kukumpunihang kalsada ang mga sumusunod:

  • Tandang Sora Avenue, Quezon City (mula Commonwealth Avenue patungong C-5)

  • Bonny Serrano Avenue Quezon City (corners ng 15th Avenue at 20th Avenue)

  • EDSA northbound, Mandaluyong City (Apo Street hanggang Pioneer Street, outermost lane; katabi ng sidewalk)

  • EDSA southbound, Mandaluyong City (makalampas ng Gate 4 patungong EDSA Shrine)

  • Roxas Boulevard northbound, Pasay City (sa pagitan ng Lourdes Street at Vicente Sotto Street)

  • Roxas Boulevard northbound, Manila (sa pagitan ng Remedios Street at Pasaje del Carmen Street)

  • Roxas Boulevard EDSA Flyover southbound, Pasay City (bridge approach, outer, at inner lane)

  • IBP – San Mateo Road, Quezon City (harap ng Robinson Easymart hanggang Jollibee, unang lane mula sa gitna)

  • Luzon Avenue southbound, Quezon City (Congressional Avenue extension hanggangang bago sumapit ang Luzon Flyover, unang lane mula sa gitna)

  • Mindanao Avenue northbound, Quezon City (Uno Fuel hanggang Chinabank, truck lane)

  • Payatas Road, Quezon City patungong Batasan Road (bago sumapit ang Maynilad Pumping Station hanggang G3 Center, outer lane)

  • Payatas Road, Quezon City patungong Batasan Road (Batasan Road hanggang Bayanihan Street / Samar Street hanggang Leyte Street, outer lane)

  • G. Araneta Avenue, Quezon City (Wayan Street hanggang Mauban Street, unang lane mula sa sidewalk)

  • Payatas Road, Quezon City (Singko Street hanggang Samar Street, inner lane)

Ani Artes, DPWH lamang ang papayagang magsagawa ng road repairs. Aniya, bunsod ito ng hindi natapos na road works ng private contractors noong Holy Week.

“We have penalized the two contractors of a telecommunications company who were unable to comply with the deadline set for road works during the Lenten break. They will be fined P1.260 million,” wika ng opisyal.

Samantala, sisimulan din ng DPWH ang retrofitting ng EDSA Kamuning Flyover Southbound simula April 25 at tatagal ng 11 buwan. Gagamitin ang Mabuhay Lanes bilang alternatibong ruta.

“We will coordinate with the Quezon City local government unit, DPWH, Quezon City Police District, Highway Patrol Group, and the barangay to manage the traffic. We will divert the traffic so that motorists could avoid the certain portion that will be subject to re-decking,” wika niya. RNT/SA
