4-taon ”zero cash” pattern sa SALN ni VP Sara, di basta pagkakamali lang – Barbers

MANILA, Philippines – Hindi maituturing na simpleng pagkakamali ang apat na magkakasunod na taong walang hiwalay na idineklarang cash on hand o cash in bank si Vice President Sara Duterte sa kanyang Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN), kahit may milyon-milyong pisong cash na makikita sa mga financial statement nito, ayon kay House Prosecution panel adviser  at Spokesperson Robert Ace Barbers.

“Alam mo kung it was just an omission, siguro baka isang taon, mapagbibigyan natin. Remember since 2022 hanggang 2025, hindi talaga sila nagdeclare ng cash-in-bank at cash-on-hand, sa kanilang SALN, diba?” ani Barbers sa isinagawang post-trial press conference.

Nang ihamabing ang mga isinumiteng SALN ni Duterte sa audited financial statements na isinumite sa Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) lumabas na mayroon itong P21.23 milyon noong 2022, P28.97 milyon noong 2023, P15.53 milyon noong 2024 at P13.8 milyon noong 2025. Pero walang hiwalay na idineklarang cash on hand o cash in bank sa mga SALN ni Duterte sa mga taong iyon.

“So anong ibig sabihin nun, there is a willful and deliberate attempt to conceal that particular income. At hindi nila ito dineklara sa kanilang net worth, sa Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth,” pahayag ni Barbers.

“So therefore there is a deliberate and willful concealment of this material figure or material information in the SALN,” giit nito.

Samantala, sinabi naman ni House prosecution panel spokesperson at Lanao del Sur Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong, mas mabigat ang pagkakaiba ng mga bilang dahil sworn o pinanumpaan ang SALN.

“Why is it betrayal of public trust? Because you’re required to file your SALN under oath. The purpose of you taking the oath is to really signify that you are attesting to the veracity, the truthfulness of whatever figures that you have declared in the SALN,” pagtatapos ni Alonto Adiong.
