MANILA, Philippines – Isinailalim sa Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 ang siyam na lugar sa Luzon habang dahan-dahang lumiko ang Tropical Storm Enteng (international name: Yagi) patungo sa silangan ng Polillo Islands nitong Lunes ng umaga, sinabi ng state weather bureau PAGASA.
Sa kanilang 8 a.m. bulletin, sinabi ng PAGASA na nakataas ang TCWS Signal No. 2 sa mga sumusunod na lugar:
-northeastern portion ng Camarines Norte (Vinzons, San Lorenzo Ruiz, Talisay, Daet, Labo, Paracale, Jose Panganiban, San Vicente, Basud, Mercedes, Santa Elena, Capalonga);
-northeastern portion ng Camarines Sur (Garchitorena, Caramoan, Presentacion, San Jose, Lagonoy, Tinambac, Siruma, Goa);
-Cagayan (Pe, Gonzaga, Santa Teresita, Buguey, Lal-Lo, Gattaran, Baggao, Santa Ana, Lasam, Santo Nino, Alcala, Amulung, Solana, Iguig, Tuguegarao City, Enrile, Aparri, Ballesteros, Camalaniugan, Allacapan, Piat, Tuao, Rizal, Abulug, Pamplona) kabilang ang Babuyan Islands;

Alas-7 ng umaga, ang sentro ng Enteng ay tinatayang nasa 100 kilometro hilagang-kanluran ng Daet, Camarines Norte o 115 kilometro silangan hilagang-silangan ng Infanta, Quezon, na kumikilos pahilagang-kanluran sa bilis na 15 kilometro bawat oras, ayon sa PAGASA.
Taglay ng tropical storm ang lakas ng hanging aabot sa 75 kph malapit sa gitna na may pagbugsong aabot sa 90 kph.
“From tomorrow early morning (3 September), ENTENG will generally turn west northwestward. Possible landfall over Babuyan Islands is also not ruled out,” ayon sa PAGASA.
“ENTENG is forecast to maintain tropical storm category until Tuesday and will intensify into a severe tropical storm by Wednesday. It may also reach a peak category of typhoon by Thursday or Friday. Further intensification over the Philippine Sea is still likely due to favorable conditions,” aniya pa. RNT
