MANILA, Philippines – Inaresto ang isang empleyado ng Quezon City Hall sa umano’y extortion at korapyson.
Sa impormasyon, ang empleyado ay nanghihingi umano ng pera mula sa may-ari ng negosyo kapalit ng pagproseso ng dokumento at mga permit.
“The Quezon City Government strongly condemns any form of corruption, bribery, or extortion, especially if it directly or indirectly involves anyone connected with the city government… Such an action is unacceptable, go against the values of integrity and public service, and will never be tolerated,” saad sa pahayag ng QC LGU nitong Sabado, Agosto 16.
Sinabi na nagsasagawa na sila ng internal investigation upang makita kung may iba pang sangkot dito.
“We will take the necessary administrative and legal actions without delay… The Quezon City Government remains committed to providing fast, honest, and transparent service,” dagdag pa.
