MANILA, Philippines – Inanunsyo ng Senado na suspendido ang pasok sa trabaho ngayong Martes, Agosto 26 kasunod ng memorandum circular na inilabas ng Office of the President na nagsususpinde sa pasok sa lahat ng opisina ng pamahalaan sa Metro Manila dahil sa inaasahang sama ng panahon dulot ng low pressure area at Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
Sa kabila nito, magpapatuloy ng itinakdang aktibidad ang Commission on Appointments.
“Upon instruction of the Senate President, the head of office of the MGSB (Maintenance and General Services Bureau) is directed to ensure the presence of personnel who are necessary and essential in ensuring that the Session Hall of the Senate of the Philippines shall be ready for the use of Commission on Appointments, which shall proceed with its mandated to constitute itself, pursuant to Article VI, Section 19 of the Constitution, at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow at the Session Hall of the Senate of the Philippines,” saad sa abiso.
“All other Senate officials and employees need not report for work.”
Nauna nang nag-anunsyo ang Department of the Interior and Local Government ng suspensyon ng klase at pasok sa pamahalaan sa ilang lugar ngayong araw dahil sa masamang panahon. RNT/JGC
