MANILA, Philippines – Sinabi ng Department of Education nitong Sabado, Disyembre 20 na magsisimula na ito sa pagbibigay ng year-end incentives sa isang milyong tauhan ng DepEd sa buong bansa.
Kabilang sa incentives ang Service Recognition Incentive (SRI), Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI), Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) incentive para sa eligible personnel, at gratuity pay para sa contract-based workers.
“In total, the incentive package covers around 1 million DepEd employees nationwide, with teachers and non-teaching personnel receiving PhP20,000 SRI and PhP5,000 PEI, non-teaching staff set to receive an additional Php10,000 CNA incentive, and contract of service and job order workers getting up to Php7,000 in gratuity pay, depending on length of service,” pahayag ng DepEd.
Ang SRI ay ibibigay sa ilang bahagi, kung saan ang iitial release ay ngayong Disyembre sa P10,000 hanggang P14,500 kada eligible na empleyado.
Ang balanse ng SRI ay ibibigay “after the approval of the request for modification of allotments.”
Ayon sa DepEd, ang mga kwalipikadong makatanggap ng SRI ay ang department personnel na may regular, contractual, at co-terminus appointments sa central, regional, division, at school offices.
“Nagpapasalamat kami sa mga guro at kawani ng DepEd na patuloy na nagpapatakbo ng ating sistema ng edukasyon,” sinabi ni Education Secretary Sonny Angara.
“Kayo ang dahilan kung bakit malaki ang budget ng edukasyon, at tungkulin naming tiyakin na ito ay nagreresulta sa benepisyo at serbisyong karapat-dapat sa inyo,” dagdag pa.
Samantala, ibibigay naman ang PEI sa eligible personnel ayon sa Executive Order No. 201.
Ang mga empleyado ng DepEd na pasok naman sa Contract of Service at Job Order arrangements ay makatatanggap ng gratuity pay na mula P4,000 hanggang P7,000, depende sa haba ng kanilang serbisyo at ilalabas ng DepEd Central Office at regional offices.
Samantala, ang P10,000 CNA incentive ay ibibigay sa eligible non-teaching personnel na may regular, contractual, at co-terminus appointments sa Enero 2026. RNT/JGC
