MANILA, Philippines – PINAYAGAN ng Malakanyang na bumiyahe sa labas ng bansa si Vice-President Sara Z. Duterte simula Abril 23 hanggang Mayo 16, 2026.
Sa katunayan, nakasaad sa travel authority na tinintahan ni Acting Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, may petsang Abril 22, 2026, pinahihintulutan ng Malakanyang na bumiyahe siya (VP Sara) sa mga bansang Netherlands, Republic of Korea, Belgium, Germany at the United Kingdom of Great Britain at Northern Ireland sa Abril 23 hanggang Mayo 16, 2026, habang naka-leave of absence at walang gastos sa gobyerno.
“In view of the representations made with this Office, and pursuant to Memorandum Circular No.35, s. 2017, you are hereby authorized to tavel to the Netherlands, Republic of Korea, Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom of Great Britain at Northern Ireland on 23 April-15 May 2026, while on leave of absence, at no cost to the government.”
“This supersedes travel authority issued in your favor, if any, for yor personal trips to the aforementioned countries on 23 April-14 May 2026.”
Sa kabilang dako, nang hingan naman ng kumpirmasyon ukol sa travel authority ni VP Sara, ang naging tugon ni Recto sa isang text message ay “Yes, she requested for travel authority to visit those countries April 23 to May 15.”
Samantala, kinumpirma rin ni Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro ang pagbibigay ng go signal ng Malakanyang sa request ni VP Sara na byaheng abroad. (Kris Jose)
