MANILA, Philippines – Dalawang pangunahing panukala at kabilang sa Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) ang inaasahang pinal na ipapasa ng Kamara sa pagbabalik sesyon nito.
Sinabi ni House Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” A. Marcos ng Ilocos Norte na ang dalawang panukala ay ang National Land Use Act at amendments sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Act.
“These are not theoretical proposals anymore. These are measures that have already moved through key stages, and what they need now is sustained floor work so we can bring them across the finish line before adjournment,” ayon sa mambabatas.
Nasa kabuuang 18 priority bills ang ipinasa ng Kamara bago nagbakasyon nitong Marso kabilang na ang pag-reset ng First Regular Elections ng Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, na ganap ng naging batas at National Center for Geriatric Health, na nasa bicameral conference committee.
“Masigasig po ang inyong Kamara sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Speaker Dy sa pagpasa ng mga prayoridad na panukala ng administrasyon. And so far, we are proud of what we have accomplished,” dagdag ni Marcos.
Ang iba pang priority bills ay ang EPIRA Amendments: ERC Strengthening; Waste-to-Energy; Amendments to the Government Assistance to Students and Teachers in Private Education Act.; Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations Act; Amendments to the National Building Code; Blue Economy Act.; National Reintegration Bill; Amendments to the Teachers Professionalization Act; Extension of Estate Tax Amnesty Period; Department of Water Resources Bill; Amendments to the Bank Deposits Secrecy Law; ravel Tax Abolition; Digital Payments Act; Amendments to the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act; Presidential Merit Scholarship Program; at Amendments to the Biofuels Act.
Sinabi pa ng kongresista na naka-sentro ang Kamara sa pinal na pagpasa ng mga panukala partikular na yaong isasalang sa plenaryo.
Kabilang sa isinailalim sa Calendar of Business ay ang Anti-Political Dynasty Act.
Ang mga panukalang inaprubahan naman sa komite at naghihintay ng komento mula sa Committee on Appropriations ay ang Classroom-Building Acceleration Program at Right to Information habang ang mga panukala na nasa ilalim ng TWG o committee deliberation ay ang amendments to the Rice Tariffication Law; Amendments to the Masustansyang Pagkain Para sa Batang Pilipino Act; Anti-Fake News and Disinformation; Amendments to the Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Act; Citizen Access and Disclosure of Expenditures for National Accountability or CADENA Act; Party-list System Reform Act; Expanded Anti-Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on Children at Creating the Independent People’s Commission.
