MANILA, Philippines – Hinimok ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang mga miyembro ng Iglesia ni Cristo na manatiling “steadfast partners in nation-building” sa pagdiriwang ng ika-112 anibersaryo ng relihiyosong organisasyon nitong Lunes.
Muling tiniyak ni Marcos ang suporta ng pamahalaan sa mga organisasyong nagtataguyod ng kapayapaan, nagpapalakas sa mga pamilya, at naglilingkod sa mga komunidad.
“As you gather in thanksgiving, may this milestone deepen your commitment to translating your beliefs into meaningful acts that uplift those in need, comfort the weary, and foster harmony wherever you serve,” sinabi niya.
“In this spirit, I encourage every member of the INC to remain a steadfast partner in nation-building, where faith is demonstrated through service and citizenship is expressed through genuine concern for others,” dagdag niya.
Ayon sa Pangulo, mahigit isang siglo nang nagsisilbi ang INC bilang “a steadfast guide to a community grounded in faith, discipline, and a shared sense of responsibility,” habang patuloy na lumalawak ang presensiya nito sa iba’t ibang komunidad sa buong mundo.
“Your enduring work reminds us that a life rooted in devotion and integrity helps reinforce the moral foundation of society,” sinabi ni Marcos.
“May this anniversary reaffirm the sacred mission that has sustained your Church through the generations,” dagdag niya.
Kamakailan ay nagsagawa ang INC ng serye ng mga rally bilang suporta sa miyembro nitong si Sen. Rodante Marcoleta, na kasalukuyang nakakulong sa New Quezon City Jail dahil sa mga kasong plunder.
Hindi ipinahinto ng Malacañang ang mga rally ngunit nagbabala itong hindi dapat gamitin ang mga pagtitipon para sa mga hakbang na naglalayong destabilization. RNT
