Inilarawan ni Anne ang ama bilang “a true patriarch in every sense” na humulma sa kanila with “strength, resilience and wit.”
Dagdag niya: “He was deeply loved, endlessly admired and will live on in our hearts always. We will miss him dearly.”
Isa ang co-host niya sa It’s Showtime na si Karylle na nagpaabot ng pakikiramay.
“Sorry to hear this, Anne. Sending all my love, our prayers and deepest condolences,” ani Karylle, herself ay fatherless na din.
Nag-condole din si Dra. Vicky Belo sa ngalan ng asawang si Hayden: “I know you’ve been dreading this day would happen. But you can take solace in the fact that you super duper took care of him and that you did all you could not only for him but your whole family. That’s why l admire you so much.”
