LA, USA – Pinalagan ni Nic Chien ang mga nagsasabing sa impyerno ang bagsak ng mga miyembro ng LGBTQIA+ community.
Si Nic ay ang transgender son ni Lea Salonga.
Hindi na nagpaliguy-ligoy si Nic nang mag-guest sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
Ang mensahe ni Nic: “Screw you…whoever thinks being queer or gay or trans is a choice… no, it’s not a choice!”
Paliwanag niya: “If I had a choice to only like women, I would choose that choice…if there was an easier out, we would have chosen that a long time ago pero hindi. Kasi this is what we really are!”
Despite nasty things spoken by other people, Nic remains grateful dahil tinanggap siya ng kanyang mga magulang.
Last November 2025, sumailalim si Nic sa breast removal surgery–bagay na ipinaalam muna niya kay Lea.
