MANILA, Philippines – Pinaboran ng Mandaluyong City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 279 ang petisyon para sa permanent injunction na inihain ng TVJ Productions, Inc. laban sa dating “Eat Bulaga” host na si Anjo Yllana at inatasan siyang magbayad ng P3.5 milyong danyos.
Sa desisyong may petsang Hunyo 29, 2026, inutusan si Yllana na magbayad ng tig-P1 milyon bilang temperate, moral, at exemplary damages, bukod pa sa P500,000 para sa attorney’s fees at litigation expenses.
Ipinagbawal din ng korte kay Yllana, sa kanyang mga kinatawan at sinumang kumikilos para sa kanya sa loob ng National Capital Judicial Region ang “publishing, broadcasting, uttering, sharing, distributing, or re-uploading on TikTok, TikTok Live, or any social media or digital platform the defamatory statements which tend to diminish, dilute, or damage the goodwill and reputation of plaintiff TVJ Productions, Inc. and Eat Bulaga.”
Inihain ng TVJ Productions ang kaso matapos maglabas si Yllana ng iba’t ibang alegasyon laban sa “Eat Bulaga” at sa mga host nitong sina Sen. Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, at Joey de Leon, kabilang ang pahayag na may umano’y “syndicate” sa programa at ang alegasyong may mistress si Tito Sotto.
Kasunod ng desisyon, sinabi ng TVJ Productions na ito ay isang “definitive vindication of the integrity of ‘Eat Bulaga,’ its hosts, and its management, and of the decades of trust that generations of viewers have placed in the program.”
