Ayon sa mga netizens na nakarinig ng kanyang kanta ay nakaka-sad naman daw ang lyrics lalo’t marami ang baka-relate sa lyrics nito.
“The inspiration behind the song is the uncertainty, which sometimes people experience when they are in a relationship.
“You are asking that specific someone, ‘Bakit humantong tayo sa ganito? Bakit ganito yung nangyayari? Bakit hindi mo maamin?'” sabi ni Anne.
These questions lie at the heart of her single single Bakit? to be released on June 13, under GMA Playlist. The track draws its listeners into the world of unspoken feelings and uncertainties.
Ang Bakit? ay sinulat nina Kenneth Job Reodica and Barbarra Edralin, with additional arrangement by Kaya Katigbak and Anjo Baraquel.
Bakit? is an upbeat melody showcasing an internal dialogue of someone grappling with unresolved emotions. It seeks to understand why circumstances have unfolded as they have. The song also highlights the common push and pull when communication falters in a relationship.
Anne hopes her debut single will serve as a voice for those struggling to articulate their feelings.
“I hope that this song will be able to tell them or the other person: ‘para malaman mo na may gusto akong itanong sa’yo pero I can’t ask you directly,” she explained.
“So if ever you’re in a relationship or you are unsure with what’s going on anymore, you can just send this song.”
