COTABATO City, Philippines – Nanumpa nitong Martes si Col. Sultan Salman Sapal bilang bagong Director ng Maguindanao del Sur Police Provincial Office, kapalit ni Col. Ryan Bobby Paloma.
Pinangunahan ni Col. Giusseppe Geraldo, na kumakatawan kay Bangsamoro Director Brig. Gen. Jeysen de Guzman, ang turnover ceremony sa Camp Datu Akilan sa Shariff Aguak.
Sa kanyang talumpati, binigyang-diin ni Sapal ang “5-minute response time” program ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Nicolas Torre III, na naglalayong ibalik ang tunay na diwa ng serbisyo ng pulisya sa komunidad.
“As your new provincial director, I am giving my number to the public so they can directly report any police officer who fails to do their duty or acts unprofessionally,” ayon kay Sapal “This is part of our commitment to restore public trust and ensure that the police truly serve the community.”
