MANILA, Philippines – Patay ang isang biology student at beauty queen sa sunog na sumiklab sa Laguna State Polytechnic University College of Arts and Sciences sa Barangay Bubukal, Santa Cruz, Laguna nitong Huwebes, Marso 13.
Kinilala ng pulisya ang biktima na si Trisha Macalacay, isang opisyal ng Supreme Student Council at Miss Paete Tourism noong 2022.
Iniulat ng mga empleyado ng LSPU ang sunog sa
Bureau of Fire Protection na sumiklab sa ikalawang palapag ng College of Arts and Sciences building bandang 12:50 ng hapon.
Dumating ang mga bumbero at naapula ang sunog bandang 3:09 ng hapon.
Natagpuan na lamang ang labi ni Macalacay sa comfort room matapos ang mopping-up operations.
“It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Trisha Macalacay. Trisha was cherished for her kindness, gentleness, and her beauty both inside and out. Her smile lit up any room, and her pure heart, confidence, intelligence, and exceptional qualities will always mark to those people she met,” anunsyo ng pamilya ni Macalacay sa isang Facebook post.
“Her presence will be greatly missed, but her spirit and the memories she leaves behind will remain in our hearts forever, they added.
“May you rest in peace my baby doll. Our princess.”
