MANILA, Philippines — Ilang flights sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at Middle East ang kinansela ng mga airline dahil sa umiiral na security situation sa ilang bahagi ng rehiyon.

Ayon sa Cebu Pacific (CEB), kinansela ang ilang biyahe simula Marso 9, 2026, alas-3 ng hapon. Kabilang dito ang flight 5J 740 mula Manila patungong Riyadh noong Marso 9.

Noong Marso 10, kanselado rin ang flight 5J 741 (Riyadh–Manila) at 5J 14/15 (Manila–Dubai–Manila). Sa Marso 11, kinansela rin ng airline ang flights 5J 14/15 (Manila–Dubai–Manila), 5J 18/19 (Manila–Dubai–Manila), at 5J 740 (Manila–Riyadh). Kanselado rin ang flight 5J 741 (Riyadh–Manila) sa Marso 12.

“CEB will continue to assess its flight operations to and from the Middle East. As this remains a developing situation, further schedule adjustments may be necessary,” pahayag ng Cebu Pacific sa inilabas nitong statement sa social media.

“Passengers are encouraged to check their flight status at cebupacificair.com/flight-status and ensure their contact details are updated to receive timely notifications, and to monitor updates through CEB’s official social media accounts,” dagdag pa ng kumpanya.

Nagkansela rin ng ilang flights ang Philippine Airlines (PAL) hanggang alas-9 ng gabi ng Marso 9, 2026.

Para sa Marso 9, kabilang sa mga kanseladong biyahe ang PR 685 (Doha–Manila), PR 684 (Manila–Doha), PR 654/655 (Manila–Riyadh–Manila), at PR 658/659 (Manila–Dubai–Manila).

Sa Marso 10, kinansela ng PAL ang PR 685 (Doha–Manila), PR 684 (Manila–Doha), at PR 654/655 (Manila–Riyadh–Manila). Sa Marso 11, kanselado ang PR 685 (Doha–Manila), PR 684 (Manila–Doha), at PR 658/659 (Manila–Dubai–Manila).

Para naman sa Marso 12, kanselado ang PR 685 (Doha–Manila), PR 684 (Manila–Doha), PR 654/655 (Manila–Riyadh–Manila), at PR 658/659 (Manila–Dubai–Manila). Sa Marso 13, kanselado rin ang flight PR 685 (Doha–Manila).
