MANILA, Philippines – BINIGYANG-diin ni Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian ang kahalagahan ng paninindigan sa kautusan at pagsunod sa United Nations Charter sa pagtugon sa mga bagong hamon at sa pangangalaga ng mga “hard-won achievements” mula sa World War 2.
Sa isinagawang pagdiriwang ng ika-98 anibersaryo ng pagkakatatag ng Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), iginiit ng envoy ang commitment ng Tsina na ipagtanggol ang resulta ng Second World War at panindigan ang international order na nakasentro sa UN.
“We must firmly uphold the authority and central role of the United Nations in international affairs… We must work together to safeguard the hard-won achievements of World War 2 and strongly oppose any attempt to distort historical truth,” ayon sa ambassador.
“We remain committed to upholding the international system with the United Nations at its core, the international order grounded in international law, and a rules-based multilateral trading system. Only through strengthened solidarity and cooperation can we effectively rise to meet the global challenges of our time,” aniya pa.
Sinabi pa ni Huang na dapat panindigan ang One-China Policy at “oppose any separatist activities” dahil “Taiwan’s return to China was a key outcome of the victory in World War 2.”
Noting that the world is facing “profound changes unseen in a century” and “widening deficits in peace, development, security, and governance,” ibinahagi ni Huang ang ginawang paglulunsad ni Chinese President Xi Jinping ng Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, at Global Civilization Initiative upang magtaguyod ng “community of shared future” at makapag-ambag sa isang mas maunlad at ligtas na mundo.
Sa isang Facebook post, binigyang-diin ni Huang ang commitment ng PLA na bantayan at pangalagaan ang “national sovereignty, security, at development interests” habang nag-aambag sa “global peace and security.”
Ginunita rin ni Huang ang ika-80 anibersaryo ng tagumpay sa World Anti-Fascist War at Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, at sinabi kung paano pinanindigan ng Pilipinas at Tsina ang pagkakaisa sa panahon ng World War 2. Kris Jose
