MANILA, Philippines – Kinilala ni Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco nitong Biyernes, Pebrero 9, ang ambag ng Chinese community sa pagbuo ng kasaysayan ng Pilipinas.
Ayon kay Frasco, nag-evolve ang dalawang kultura upang pag-isahin ang dalawang magkaibang komunidad sa isang “common shared expderiences.”
“In the Philippines, the Chinese community has played an integral role in shaping our history, contributing to the diverse cultural landscape that defines our nation and people. The fusion of Filipino and Chinese customs is evident in our culinary delights, festive celebrations, and familial ties,” saad sa pahayag ni Frasco.
“From the lively dragon and lion dances to the delectable flavors of traditional Chinese cuisine, we revel in the shared experiences that bring us together,” dagdag niya.
“This Chinese New Year, we invite everyone to explore the enchanting fusion of cultures that our beautiful archipelago has to offer.
