MANILA, Philippines- Pormal na binuksan ng lokal na pamahalaang lungsod ng Navotas ang NavoRehistro Citizen Registration Program bilang tanda ng ceremonial commitment signing.
Pinangunahan ni Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco ang programa na dinaluhan ng Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan officials, bilang pagsuporta ng mga ito sa nasabing programa.
Layon ng NavoRehistro na matukoy ang tirahan ng indibidwal at pamilya, hanapbuhay at kung rehistradong botante ng lungsod.
Hinahanapan nito ng paraan upang mailapit ang publiko sa mahalagang serbisyo publiko at pagandahin ang paglilingkod sa iba’t ibang sektor kabilang ang social services, healthcare, edukasyon, kabuhayan, katahimikan at kaayusan.
Layon din na palakasin ang pagpaplano sa lungsod at pagpapatupad ng mga proyekto at programa.
“We urge every Navoteño to take part in this initiative. Through this program, the city government will be able to build and maintain a comprehensive database. This, in turn, will enable us to allocate resources effectively and implement services tailor-fit to the needs of our people,” ani Mayor Tiangco.
“Currently, the NavoRehistro web application allows us to access the city’s online business application and tax payment, as well as payment for ordinance violation tickets,” dagdag pa ng alkalde.
“Further development of the app will allow us to roll out of application for financial or livelihood assistance, including the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation or Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers.” paliwanag ni Tiangco.
Ang mga mamamayan ng Navotas ay maaaring magparehistro at lumikha ng family tree sa pamamagitan ng www.citizen.navotas.gov.ph.
