MANILA, Philippines – Inihayag ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) nitong Miyerkules, Enero 3, na naglabas sila ng P550 milyon para sa National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI).
“DBM Secretary Mina F. Pangandaman has approved the issuance of Special Allotment Release Orders (SAROs) in the total amount of P550 million to cover the funding requirements for the Out-Patient Department (OPD) Building of the National Kidney and Transplant Institute,” saad sa pahayag ng ahensya.
Ipinaliwanag ng DBM na ang pondo ay gagamitin para sa konstruksyon ng OPD building, sabay-sabing ang karagdagang pondo ay magsisiguro na mapalalakas pa ang kapabilidad ng NKTI.
“President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. keeps saying that no Filipino should be deprived of quality health care. That’s why we continuously give high regard to our health-care facilities, more importantly, our specialty hospitals like NKTI,” dagdag ni Pangandaman. RNT/JGC
