MANILA, Philippines – Binisita ni Education Secretary Sonny Angara ang Pag-asa Island para mamahagi ng mga laptop at iba pang suplay.
Nasa kabuuang 15 laptop ang ibinigay sa mga guro ng Pag-asa Integrated School kabilang ang 43 footballs at 109 school bags na puno ng essential supplies.
“With this technology, we hope to lighten the workload of our teachers and unlock the potential of our learners. President Bongbong Marcos has directed us to harness modern tools to strengthen education and uplift the future of our youth,” saad sa pahayag ni Angara nitong Lunes, Oktubre 21.
Bukod sa distribusyon, nagsagawa rin ng konsultasyon si Angara at mga opisyal ng Department of Education sa mga guro, magulang at lider ng komunidad para tugunan ang mga suliranin sa paghahatid ng maayos na edukasyon sa lugar.
Tinalakay din dito ang posibleng solusyon sa pagpapabuti ng pamumuhay sa isla, kabilang ang housing initiatives at transportation services sa mga residente.
