Digital Nomad Visas para sa foreign remote workers aprub kay PBBM

MANILA, Philippines- Inatasan ni Pangulong Ferdinand ”Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Department of Foreign Affairs na mag-isyu ng Digital Nomad Visas (DNV) sa non-immigrant foreigners na nais pumasok o manatili sa bansa para sa temporary period o para magtrabaho “remotely” gamit ang digital technologies.

Nakasaad sa Executive Order (EO) No. 86 na kabilang din dito ang mga kliyente o empleyado na nasa labas ng Pilipinas. Nilalayon din ng kautusang ito na palakasin ang ekonomiya at turismo ng bansa.

Narito ang mga kwalipikasyon ng mga dayuhang maaaring mag-apply ng DNV:

1. Must be at least 18 years of age;

2. Must show proof of remote work using digital technology;

3. Must show proof of sufficient income which is generated outside the Philippines;

4. Must show proof of no criminal record;

5. Must have health insurance valid for the period of the DNV;

6. Must be a national of a country that offers DNVs to Filipinos and where the Philippines has a Foreign Service Post (FSP);

7. Must not pose threat to the internal or external security of the Philippines; and

8. Must not be employed in the Philippines.

Nakasaad sa EO na ang mga dayuhang inisyuhan ng valid DNVs ay dapat tumalima sa mga nasabing kondisyon sa kasagsagan ng validity ng kanilang DNVs. RNT/SA
