MANILA, Philippines – Nananatiling nangungunang pinagpipilian si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte para sa 2025 senatorial elections, batay sa survey ni Tangere na isinagawa sa pagitan ng Marso 7 at 10.
Sa resulta ng survey na inilabas noong Huwebes, Marso 21, nakita ni Tangere ang 56 porsiyento ng mga respondent na nagsabing susuportahan nila ang dating pangulo kung magpasya itong tumakbo sa senado.
Nabanggit din ng Tangere na malinaw na nakinabang si Duterte sa suporta ng Mindanao (23 porsiyento), ngunit hindi maganda ang pagganap sa mga matatandang respondent (51 taong gulang at mas mataas, 12 porsiyento) at sa Metro Manila (12 porsiyento).
Ang malapit na sumunod sa kanya ay si ACT-CIS party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo na may 53 porsiyentong swak sa pulso ng mga botante.
Mataas din ang ranking sa survey sina incumbent Senator Bong Go (48 percent) at dating Senator Tito Sotto (46 percent).
Ang top 12 potential candidates ay sina Senator Pia Cayetano (41 percent), Senator Imee Marcos (41 percent), dating Senator Manny Pacquiao (40 percent), dating Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso (40 percent), Senator Ronald “ Bato” Dela Rosa (38 percent), Senator Francis Tolentino (37 percent), at Senator Lito Lapid (37 percent).
Malapit naman nang makapasok sa top 12 sina social media personality at doktor na si Willie Ong (35 percent), dating Senador Panfilo “Ping” Lacson (33 percent), television personality na si Willie Revillame (32 percent), Senator Bong Revilla (31 percent), at dating Bise Presidente Leni Robredo (27 porsyento)
“Interesting to note as well that key potential senatorial candidates that have been aligned with the former President Duterte’s administration’s opposition, such as former Vice President Leni Robredo, former Senators Kiko Pangilinan and Leila De Lima, and Atty. Chel Diokno, are more likely to gain their share of votes from the youth voting segment—18-25 years old,” anang Tangere.
