MANILA, Philippines – Kinwestyon ang district head ng National Capital Region – Land Transportation Office (LTO-NCR) kaugnay sa rehistro ng trak na nasangkot sa fatal road accident sa Skyway At-Grade sa Parañaque noong Disyembre 6.
Sa pahayag ng LTO nitong Miyerkules, Disyembre 25, pinagpapaliwanag ang opisyal sa umano’y “fraudulent” registration at bakit hindi ito dapat makatanggap ng
administrative action sa paglabag sa 2017 Rules on Administrative Cases in the Civil Service (RACCS).
Obligado ang district head na sumagot sa loob ng limang araw matapos matanggap ang liham.
“Failure on your part to submit the required explanation within a specified period shall be construed as a waiver on your part to controvert the issues raised against you and the case shall be decided on the basis of evidence at hand,” sinabi ng LTO.
“We want to have a clear explanation from the LTO officer involved, under the concept of command responsibility, as to why the truck was able to register without the necessary road worthiness inspection,” ayon pa kay LTO Assistant Secretary Attorney Vigor Mendoza II.
Matatandaan na napaulat na nawalan ng control ang trak sa southbound lane ng Skyway dahilan para araruhin nito ang anim na sasakyan.
