MANILA, Philippines – Inaresto ang isang empleyado ng Cauayan Airport sa Isabela matapos umano nitong sabihing may bomba sa loob ng kanyang sasakyan habang pumapasok sa paliparan noong Hulyo 24, ayon sa Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group.
“The suspect allegedly made a bomb joke while entering the airport, claiming there was a bomb inside the rear compartment of his vehicle,” pahayag ng PNP-AVSEGROUP.
“The remark immediately prompted airport authorities to implement standard aviation security protocols,” dagdag nito.
Agad na ininspeksiyon ng mga tauhan ng PNP-AVSEGROUP at PNP Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Group ang sasakyan, ngunit walang nakitang pampasabog o iba pang mapanganib na bagay.
“Despite the negative findings, the suspect was arrested for alleged violation of Presidential Decree No. 1727, otherwise known as the Anti-Bomb Joke Law,” ayon sa PNP-AVSEGROUP.
