MANILA, Philippines- Sinabi ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) nitong Lunes na pinanatili nito si Gabriel Go bilang pinuno ng Special Operations Group-Strike Force (SOG-SF) nito matapos ang imbestigasyon nito sa viral video na kinasasangkutan ng opisyal.
“The MMDA has decided to retain Gabriel Go as head of the agency’s SOG-SF, which is mandated to get rid of obstructions for unimpeded vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the National Capital Region,” pahayag ng MMDA.
“Upon the instruction of MMDA Chairman Atty. Don Artes, Go will undergo a five-day training mentorship coaching on traffic management, focusing on leadership, courtesy, and discipline and with special attention on stress and anger management,” dagdag nito.
Ang pagsasanay ni Go ay sa ilalim ng pangangasiwa ni MMDA Traffic Education Division’s Edison Nebrija.
Nauna nang naghain ng administrative complaint laban kay Go para sa “discourtesy toward a police officer.”
Sinita ng MMDA Legal and Legislative Affairs Staff si Go dahil sa “simple discourtesy with stern warning that the commission of the same in the future will be dealt with more severely.”
Naghain si Police Captain Erik Felipe noong nakaraang linggo ng cyber libel complaint laban kay Go na sumita sa kanya sa isang clearing operation sa Quezon City.
Ilang oras bago ang paghahain ng reklamo, humingi ng paumanhin si Go kay Felipe.
“The MMDA constantly reminds its traffic enforcers to exercise maximum tolerance when dealing with unwarranted confrontation with traffic violators, address the matter in a diplomatic manner, and observe the highest degree of professionalism in all official dealings,” anang ahensya. RNT/SA
